Visual identity work together with Tokyo based Curators Inc. for The Essence of Finnish Design and Culture exhibition - the largest Finnish design exhibition to ever have taken place in Japan. The exhibition started its tour around Japan from Utsunomiya in April 2012 and finished in Kobe in March 2013. Over 300 different items of both modern and traditional design were on display and thus required a timeless design for the exhibition identity. The Nuppu pattern from Juho Viitasalo's Finlandia series was chosen as the basis for the visual identity.
